Position Summary:
We are seeking a professional, detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our medspa team. This role combines clinical support with esthetic care, assisting providers in delivering advanced cosmetic and wellness treatments in a safe, efficient, and customer-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Support:

Assist medical providers with non-invasive and minimally invasive procedures (e.g., injectables, laser treatments, microneedling, chemical peels).

Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean, safe environment per OSHA and HIPAA standards.

Document patient history, vital signs, consent forms, and post-treatment care instructions.

Administer topical anesthetics and assist during procedures as directed.

Monitor and manage inventory of clinical supplies.
Client Interaction & Service:

Greet and prepare clients for treatments; answer questions and ensure comfort throughout their visit.

Educate clients on skincare regimens and aftercare protocols.

Support front desk as needed with scheduling, phone calls, and client check-in/check-out.

Maintain confidentiality and professionalism with all client interactions.
Esthetic Duties (if licensed):

Perform facials, dermaplaning, and other esthetic treatments within scope of practice.

Recommend products and skincare routines based on client needs.

Stay informed about trends, services, and products in the aesthetics industry.
Qualifications:

Medical Assistant certification
-
Previous experience in a medspa, dermatology office, or cosmetic practice preferred.

Knowledge of skincare products, facial anatomy, and esthetic procedures.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong attention to detail and multitasking ability.

CPR certification (preferred).
Work Environment:

Fast-paced, client-focused clinical and spa setting.

May involve standing for long periods and light lifting (up to 25 lbs).

Exposure to lasers, chemicals, and bodily fluids as part of clinical treatments.
