Citizen of the Year

CITIZEN OF THE YEAR NOMINATIONS NOW BEING ACCEPTED

Nominations for Southlake’s Citizen of the Year are currently being accepted.  Police Chief Robert Finn received the honor last year, joining the list of honorees receiving the award since it began in 1988.  The Southlake Chamber of Commerce will once again bestow the honor of “Citizen of the Year” at its annual awards banquet being held on Friday, February 26.

Nominees must meet the following criteria:

  • Southlake resident and/or Southlake Chamber of Commerce member for three years prior to nomination.
  • Volunteered time and leadership to improve economic, civic and cultural well-being to the Southlake.
  • Not be the immediate Past Chairman of the Chamber.

Nomination forms can be submitted by anyone and are available here, or by emailing jill@southlakechamber.com.  Complete the form below, or return printed nominations to the Southlake Chamber of Commerce at info@southlakechamber.com, 1501 Corporate Circle, Ste. 100, Southlake, TX 76092, or 817-749-8202 fax.  Friday, February 5, 2010 is the deadline for nominations!

Local residents are also encouraged to provide suggestions for local business awards as well, including the small business and corporate business of the year. 

Seating is limited. Reservations can be made online by Monday, February 22, at www.southlakechamber.com, or by calling 817-481-8200.  The event will take place at the Southlake Hilton Hotel, 1400 Plaza Place.

Criteria & Form Submission Information

Recipient must have lived or worked in Southlake for at least three years. The individual must have volunteered time and leadership to improve economic, civic, and/or cultural well-being to the City of Southlake.
